• Gracias, TIHSHO! Okay, bands I’m listening to to follow… (Are you excited? I’m excited. Oh my god this is going to be soooo awesome!) #
• Fleet Foxes beating my ears right now: Great stuff. Like @TIHSHO says, they have the Brian Wilson sound that’s popular right now, plus folk. #
• TV on the Radio’s “Dear Science” recalls earlier albums and expands on them. They’d be obnoxious to hang with, but this is brilliant stuff. #
• New Sun Kil Moon album, “April,” a yawner. More of the same “good sound,” but it’s like eating candy corn — one’s fine, more gets old fast. #
• Ultimately, I like Bloc Party’s “Intimacy.” Feels like unpolished code. Maestros of the lovely song. Experimental stuff still hit or miss. #
• You disgust me, sir! You disgust me with your Tegan and Sara, @joethepeacock! #
• Fark headline I love: “The amount the U.S. owes is so large, they can’t fit the number on the National Debt Clock. Math is hard” #
